About

The Mane Street Standard Online is a publication from students at Clear Springs High School. Clear Springs opened in 2007 as Clear Creek ISD’s fourth high school. We’re located at 501 Palomino Lane in League City, in the northern part of Galveston County. We currently have nearly 2,700 students. Our goal and number one mission is to tell the stories within Clear Spings High School and give information to our students, parents, community and whoever else cares.

manestreetstandard.com became real in 2017 after a year of studies, tests and workshops.

With the leadership of journalism adviser Mrs. Karen DePaul,  students began drawing up ideas for the site. After knowing what the site needed to look like, the content that would drive the site and the tone of the content, design began.  We contacted www.schoolnewspapersonline.com and asked for help–many times.

We’re proud of our accomplishment (so far) and proud to tell the stories of Clear Springs High School and the Charger Nation.
